Alpha_1 Meta-documentation

Sample HTML Pages

The general format for an Alpha_1 manual web page is the following:
  1. "Horizontal Rule"
  2. Standard image and manual title (either User's or Developer's)
  3. "Horizontal Rule"
  4. Page title
  5. Body of page...
  6. "Horizontal Rule"
  7. Backward pointer to parent page (See below.)
  8. "Horizontal Rule"
  9. Version, copyright, and e-mail information
The backward pointer (#7) should appear on every new page that is created. It should always point to the top level manual page of the current manual section. Except on the pages which transition between a manual and a sub-branch, the backward pointer will point to the top of the current branch.

We provide example pages for the manuals listed below. The source html code for these pages should be copied and used as a starting point for developing new pages.

Important Note: The full path is used to image files in these sample pages. When the source is copied, these image references should be made relative.
